Wike calls on Nigerians to acknowledge Tinubu’s efforts – WATCH

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has urged Nigerians to hail President Bola Tinubu for working towards reducing prices of food items.

Wike claimed that the infrastructural projects, like provision of good road networks, being embarked upon by the President are aimed at reducing prices of food items and transportation.

He however urged Nigerians to be patient, assuring them that they will all smile at the end of the administration.

He said this while commissioning a road infrastructure in Abuja.

Wike said: “All of you who are claiming that you are suffering, the price of food items are high, but also give kudos to Mr President of filling everything, putting all his energy to see that food items, the prices are brought down.

“If we don’t have good road, the price of good will go up, if we have good road it’s likely to reduce. Because the transporters will always complain, why would we not have money, that’s no good road.

“When we’re coming from Jos or anywhere, our vehicles are stucked. A journey that should take us one day us five days. They add prices to all those food items.

“So by the time we finish doing infrastructures in the city and rural areas, I think our lives would be different.

“But I can tell you, before the end of this administration of Mr President, Nigerians will smile. We’ll never do anything that we know will not work. I know he means business, I know he’s committed.”
