Benue: Kidnapped Federal University of Agriculture students released

The Police in Benue has announced the release of three abducted students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM).

The Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Catherine Anene spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Anene said they regained freedom Tuesday night unhurt and that no ransom was paid.

The students were kidnapped from the campus on Saturday while studying at the Engineering Department close to the Theater Hall.

The Police added that the investigations into the matter were still ongoing.

Waku Rosemary, Director, Information, Protocol and Public Relations of the school also confirmed the release of the students.
