Muslim-Muslim Presidency: Nigerians have gradually moved on – Pastor Sarah Omakwu

The Senior Pastor of Family Worship Centre, Sarah Omakwu, has urged Christians not to accept the reality of the Muslim-Muslim presidency in the country.

DAILY POST recalls that despite outcry from some Christian bodies against the Muslim-Muslim ticket adopted by the All Progressives Congress (APC), the candidate of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, were declared winners of the February 25 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and subsequently sworn in on May 29, 2023.

Since then, the issue has been fading out of public discourse.

However, addressing her congregation recently in a viral video, Pastor Omakwu said it was wrong for Christians to move on.

According to her: “I have noticed that Nigerians have moved on politically. We have accepted what has become. On one side of our mouth, we said we did not want a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
