Sen Jimoh Ibrahim drags APC to court, seeks nullification of Ondo primary

Ondo South Lawmaker in the Senate and a governorship Aspirant in the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Ondo State, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, PhD, has approached a Federal high court sitting in Abuja to nullify the APC election that produced Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the Party’s Flag Bearer ahead of the State governorship election in November 16, 2024.

It was learnt that the Plaintiff had before now expressed displeasure over the upshot of the election, citing irregularities.

It would also be recalled that Starnews NG had exclusively reported how Senator Jimoh frenetically left the state to the National Headquarters of the ruling party in Abuja with overwhelming evidences against the party’s primary.

Aside Ibrahim, supporters of other aspirants had trooped to the party’s Secretariat in Akure, the Ondo State capital, calling for outright cancellation of the primary election.
