The Federal Government has taken a decisive step to combat plastic pollution by imposing a ban on single-use plastics across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). Minister of State for Environment, Iziaq Adekunle Salako, made the announcement after a Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu. This ban is a significant milestone in the government’s efforts to manage plastic waste and promote environmental sustainability in Nigeria.
