EFCC Chairman orders arrest of officers involved in hotel raid and assault

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has ordered the arrest of two EFCC officers involved in the manhandling of a female hotel worker in Lagos.

A viral video showed the officers invading the Annex and Regional hotels, brutalizing the female hotel manager, and stealing from guests.

The EFCC officials allegedly broke into rooms, assaulted guests and workers, and took away ATM cards, money, and phones.

The EFCC has launched an investigation into the incident, and the suspects arrested during the operation are still being profiled, according to the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale.
