Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed his dissatisfaction with the high level of corruption among Nigerian politicians and the criminal behavior of some of them.
Obasanjo argued that some politicians should be permanently imprisoned for their past misdemeanors and criminal misconduct. He recalled an incident where a politician made a false statement and blamed it on the nature of politics. Obasanjo argued that politics lacks morality, principles, ethics, good character, and positive attributes.
