21 Children Abducted In Katsina Farm Regain Freedom

Twenty-one children kidnapped by terrorist bandits while working on a farm in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State have regained their freedom.

Naija News reports that terrorists, on October 30, abducted the children comprising 17 females and four males during an invasion of Mairuwa community in Katsina.

The gunmen were said to have surrounded the farm and started shooting sporadically before abducting the workers to an unknown destination.

In a chat with reporters on Saturday, the Katsina Police spokesperson, Gambo Isah, confirmed the children’s freedom, adding that they have been reunited with their families.

Isah added that an investigation is ongoing to unravel the reason for the kidnap of the workers.
