Over at the Washington Post, Greg Sargent asked, “Why isn’t Trumpism hurting the GOP? Some Democrats see vexing answers.”
My answer is most voters have had enough of Biden and they want Trump back.
But Sargent is too wrapped up in the mass threat-to-democracy hysteria to see straight. He is a silly man who sees a protest inside the Capitol as a modern Battle of Gettysburg. Democrats have ramped up their rhetoric so high that their words totally lose their meaning. A fricking protest is now an insurrection.
Democrats are over there in that fantasyland while the voters are circling Disney World looking for that $3.29 gasoline they saw yesterday while all the signs are now posting $3.45 gasoline.
People put Democrats in charge and got the worst inflation in 40 years. That’s the problem for Democrats. Fairy tales about an insurrection won’t save them now. As always, the press is the last to know.
