Many say that ‘psychic’ occurrences can be explained away by science or coincidence, or even be a sign of a mental health issue.
However, an expert has claimed that experiences such as knowing when a friend or relative is going to call – or having a poltergeist encounter may well be a sign of untapped psychic talent.
Dr Richard Sugg, who has lectured at Durham University, is somewhat of an expert when it comes to the mystical side of life and is the author of 13 books, including Mummies, Cannibals and Vampires, Fairies: A Dangerous History, A Century of Ghost Stories, and The Real Vampires.
The expert is currently researching a new book, We Need to Talk about Ghosts, running from the death of his father in 1989 to that of his mother in 2021. He says she came back to say goodbye a week later.
Dr Sugg claims that women may be more psychic than men, and often have ‘feelings’ about places and people far sooner than the opposite sex.
