Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that he travelled to Daura, Katsina State, to present his Certificate of Return to President Muhammadu Buhari as the party leader and commend his efforts in supporting democracy in Africa.
DAILY POST had earlier reported that Tinubu flew in from Abuja on Wednesday night, a few hours after he was presented with a Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Tinubu was accompanied on the visit to Daura to meet with Buhari by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Adamu, Governors of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-rufai, Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, Zamfara, Bello Muhammad, among others.
