Diamond aircraft explores investment prospects in Nigeria

Diamond Aircraft, a leading aircraft manufacturer, has announced its plans to expand into Africa with a focus on Nigeria.

The company, which has over 6,000 aircraft flying worldwide, has not had a clear strategy for Africa until now.

Before the pandemic hit, Diamond Aircraft had already planned to visit Africa to explore investment opportunities. The company has three main purposes for the visit: to assess the African market, to meet with potential customers and business partners, and to find a local partner to produce their aircraft.

The Chairman, Diamond aircraft, Bin Chen, disclosed this over the weekend when he led his team on a visit to the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika.
