Putin cancels annual major press conference ‘until the Russian military situation is more stable’ – as Ukraine counter-offensive gets underway

Vladimir Putin has reportedly cancelled a major press conference until the Russian military situation is ‘more stable’ – as a huge Ukrainian counter attack gets under away.

The Russian president was set to carry out the annual conversation in June but is said to have pushed it back for months.

Russian news source Kommersant cited sources within the Kremlin alleging the chat could be postponed until December.

They said the live forum would be delayed until the ‘Russian military situation is more stable’.

Putin was set to hold the news conference early this month after Russian forces allegedly captured Bakhmut, analysts at the institute for the Study of War think-tank told Sky News.
