The Biden administration claims that it is outraged over a transgender activist who took his top off at a White House LGBT event over the weekend.
President Joe Biden faced backlash Monday evening after a video from Saturday went viral that showed transgender activist Rose Montoya taking his top off after meeting the president.
Montoya, a man who claims he is a woman, met with Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, and covered his bare prosthetic breasts with his hands while being recorded on camera in front of others who were in attendance.
“This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House,” a White House official said in a statement. “It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance. Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events.”
