Manchester United are in advanced talks with Inter Milan over the signing of goalkeeper Andre Onana, talkSPORT understands.
United’s opening bid of around £38m falls short of Inter’s £50m valuation but there is a willingness on both sides to reach an agreement.
Onana, who played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax, is open to moving to Old Trafford.
If the deal goes through it is unlikely David de Gea will return to United after his contract expired last month.
