We’ll leverage gas to restructure Nigeria’s economy: Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s commitment to leveraging the domestic use, processing and export of Nigeria’s gas resources.

According to him, it is the resource that will catalyse the fundamental restructuring of the nation’s economy for expansive growth during his tenure.

Mr Tinubu said this on Friday in Abuja when he received the board and management of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited at the State House.

The NLNG delegation was led by its chairman, King Edmund Daukuru of Nembe Kingdom and the NLNG managing director, Philip Mshelbila.

Mr Tinubu said his administration would remove all challenges to Nigeria’s industrious citizens’ entrepreneurial progress and development.

H said this would engender best business practices in the oil and gas sector and create more opportunities for Nigerian companies and international partners to thrive.
