House Accountability and Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) pressed special counsel Robert Hur for answers over his investigation into President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents before he became president.
Comer sent a letter to Hur on Monday saying that the committee needed information from his office to “further” their own corruption investigation into Biden and his family. Hur, who was appointed special counsel in January, reportedly interviewed Biden earlier this month over the scandal.
“The Committee has developed significant evidence regarding President Biden’s retention of classified materials at Penn Biden Center.
