Police remain Nigeria’s pillar of existence, deserve applause – Perm Sec

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Police Affairs, Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, has described the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) as the country’s pillar of existence and, therefore, deserve the best applause among the security agencies.

Sani-Gwarzo maintained that the NPF remain the best when given the right environment and for the fact that its personnel put their lives, welfare, and livelihood at stake to protect the citizens.

The permanent secretary, according to a statement issued on Monday by the Deputy Director of Press in the ministry, Bolaji Kazeem, spoke during the stakeholders/SERVICOM Committee meeting on the Ministry’s Service Chapter review held in Abuja.

He said: “Believe me, the Nigeria Police deserve the best applause in the whole country, given the right environment. They put their lives and welfare at stake, yet they have not been acknowledged.
