Houston Astros turn the table in the ALCS with Altuve’s 3 run home run

The Houston Astros took game 5 of the ALCS winning their third straight game against the Texas Rangers with a score of 5 – 4 and in an unexpected turn of events, they are only a game away from going to the show.

The star of the game was again, Jose Altuve who managed to connect a single hit throughout the game, however, his three-run homer made the whole difference to take the Astros to a more comfortable place after the start of the American League Championship Series.

As it happened in the previous game, the Astros took the lead early in the game when Bregman’s 104.5 line was smacked by Jordan Montgomery to reach the 416 ft to left field.

The Astros held onto the lead until the 5th inning when the Rangers’ Nathaniel Lowe read Verlander’s 95 mph line and hit a solo home run reaching which traveled a total of 380 ft.
