The Arizona Cardinals have officially ruled out quarterback Kyler Murray for Sunday’s Week 7 road clash against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Josh Dobbs will look to bounce back from back-to-back poor performances after starting the 2023 NFL season as a surprisingly effecient option.
Murray, 26, returned to practice earlier this week after tearing his ACL in Week 14 last season. Still, quarterbacks coach Israel Woolfork said Friday that they want to get their franchise QB right before starting him, according to Darren Urban of the Cardinals website.
“Right now, we’re just worried about him getting back in the flow of things,” Woolfork said.
There is no “exact time” for Murray’s return, per Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort, who made an appearance on Arizona Sports.
