Tinubu Grieves Loss Of Nigeria’s First Female Major-General, Kale

President Bola Tinubu expressed deep sorrow on Friday, over the passing of Nigeria’s inaugural female Major-General, Aderonke Kale, saying it was a profound loss for the nation.

Kale, who held the distinction of being the first female Commander of the Nigerian Army Medical Corps, breathed her last on Wednesday at the age of 84.

In a condolence message issued by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu extended sympathy to the Kale family, the Nigerian Army, and the medical practitioners’ community in Nigeria for the demise of one of their esteemed members.

Tinubu stated that as a pioneer in her field, the late Major General “embodied the courage, professionalism, capacity, and resilience of the Nigerian woman.”

The President offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the departed officer’s soul and urged her grieving family to find comfort in the unparalleled legacy she leaves behind.
