Popular media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde also known as Daddy Freeze, has reacted to the Appeal Court ₦5 million fine against him for allegedly sleeping with another man’s wife.
Recall that a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, on February 18, 2021, had ordered Daddy Freeze to pay ₦5m for committing adultery with Benedicta Elechi.
The media personality was asked to pay the fine to Elechi’s ex-husband, Paul Odekina
Daddy Freeze who was not satisfied with the judgement subsequently approached the Appeal Court for redress.
However, In the Certified True Copy of the judgment dated June 26, 2024, the three-man panel of Justices Abubakar Talba, Danlami Senchi, and Hannatu Balogun dismissed Daddy Freeze’s appeal for lack of merit.
Speaking on the development via his Instagram live show, Daddy Freeze insisted that he was innocent.
