Proud mother reveals her son, 6, saved her life when he ran to get help from a delivery driver after she collapsed at home with a dangerously high heart rate

A mother of a six-year-old who asked a delivery man for help after she collapsed reveals has said she is ‘so proud’ of her son.

Elizabeth Crooks, 26, from Newtownards, Northern Ireland, opened up about the distressing day she passed out at home and her son Aiden, six, alerted a delivery driver, asking him to ‘help my mummy’.

Footage from her home’s Ring doorbell captured what happened and now has gone viral with more than 20 million views worldwide. 

Speaking about the terrifying day on on This Morning, she said: ‘I was meant to be going out for my birthday… what a birthday, by the time I got up and dressed I knew something wasn’t right and I started to feel a really fast heart rate and generally unwell.

‘I ended up calling for help but unfortunately before it came I ended up passing out.
