It's golden hour! Team GB out of the starting blocks with the medals for today as the Rowing Eight finals sees the men scoop Saturday's first gold and the women a toughly-fought bronze

Britain’s eight rowing teams have both scooped up medal’s today with the men bagging gold and the womens squad walking away with a toughly-fought bronze. 

The British rowing squad have even more medals to add to the roster this morning after Oliver Wynne-Griffith and Tom George secured silver in the men’s coxless pair final yesterday.

Sholto Carnegie, Rory Gibbs, Morgan Bolding, Jacob Dawson, Charlie Elwes, Tom Digby, James Rudkin, Tom Ford – with Harry Brightmore coxing – raced their way to victory this morning. 

The Olympic winning group were all smiles as they took to the podium to celebrate their stunning win 

The Brits put on a sensational performance confidently snatching gold place as the Dutch nabbed silver, and the USA walked away with a bronze.
