The Taraba state government, in partnership with security, has established a protest situation center to monitor potential outcomes.
Governor Agbu Kefas praised security personnel and demonstrators for their peaceful behavior during an inspection of the situation room.
He noted that the protest in the state was held in solidarity with other states, and that the situation room aims to monitor demonstrators’ movements in order to prevent them from being hijacked.
The protesters in Taraba state have agreed with the state government and security agents to back out of the protest.
