Despite Hardship, Seyi Law Applauds Tinubu For Fuel Subsidy Removal

Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has commended President Bola Tinubu for abolishing the fuel subsidy.

Naija News recalls that President Tinubu, during his inaugural speech upon swearing in as Nigerian president, declared that ‘fuel subsidy is gone’.

Tinubu noted that the government could no longer afford the long-time tradition of paying subsidies on the Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS), better known as fuel.

This development has impacted the lives of every Nigerian as the cost of commodities, among others, has skyrocketed.

Acknowledging the difficulties being faced by this action, Seyi Law maintained that it will ultimately serve the best interests of Nigerians.

The comedian pointed out that the fuel subsidy should have been eliminated sooner.
