NUC accredits 34 programs in Federal University Lokoja

The Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi has disclosed that out of the 42 programs presented, 34 received full accreditation from National Universities Commission (NUC)
while eight were granted interim accreditation.

The Vice Chancellor who made this known on Saturday during the 8th Convocation Ceremony of the institution, noted that this achievement reflects the commitment of the university to academic excellence.

“The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved new academic programmes for our university, including LL.B. Law, Pharm. D. (Doctor of Pharmacy), B.Agric, B.MLS (Medical Laboratory Science), and B.Ed. Educational Management and Planning. Admissions for these programmes are ongoing for the 2024/2025 academic session, reflecting our commitment to broadening the academic opportunities available at our institution.
