The Sun

The Sun leads with the search for a lost sub carrying 5 explorers, including a British billionaire.

The Daily Telegraph

A British billionaire is one of the explorers trapped on a missing Titanic submersible, reports The Telegraph. The paper also features a bit on schools allowing kids to identify as animals and even the moon. 

The Times

As well as covering the missing submersible where a search is under way for five Titanic explorers, The Times features a study advocating regular naps in order to keep the brain fresher later down the line. 

Daily Express

The Daily Express has called the search for a missing Titanic tourist sub a “race against time”.

Daily Mirror

The Daily Mirror leads with a trio of Tories. Ex-prime minister David Cameron was heckled after testifying at the COVID inquiry, Boris Johnson was found to have lied to parliament about partygate in a report, a finding which a majority of MPs backed in a Commons vote, while Rishi Sunak didn’t show up to the debate.

Daily Star

Remember the lettuce that outlasted former PM Liz Truss? She’s hit out at the Daily Star’s stunt calling it “puerile”. The paper has brushed the criticism aside as “tosh”.

The Guardian

The Guardian’s top story is that MPs have overwhelmingly approved the Commons’ Privileges Committee report that found Boris Johnson lied to parliament about partygate.

The Daily Mail leads on the news that a Titanic tourist submarine has gone missing with a British billionaire and four others on board. A frantic search is under way to find the vessel.

The Financial Times reports on certain mortgage rates “breaching” 6%, increasing worries for homeowners and putting pressure on the government. The paper also features a lost sub with explorers on board en route to visit the Titanic wreck. 

Metro

A sub that takes tourists to view the Titanic has gone missing, Metro reports. Five people are on board and a search is under way.
