2. Archbishop Uka Uka Osim and Family Kidnapped in Abia State

Archbishop Uka Uka Osim of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, along with his wife, Anne Osim, and son, Roland Uka Osim, were among those kidnapped in Abia State on May 1, 2024. They were abducted alongside three other clergymen of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.

3. Village Head Killed in Kaduna State

Gunmen suspected to be hired killers have murdered Malam Kabiru Mohammed, the village head of Marke in Dandamisa Ward, Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The gunmen invaded his residence around 12:30 am on Thursday, forcing everyone out of the compound before carrying out the killing.

DStv and GOtv customers in Nigeria have been advised to expect service disruptions from Sunday, May 5, to Tuesday, May 7, due to ongoing construction on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. 5. Car Accident on Festac Link Bridge Leaves Three Injured

A woman, her toddler, and a motorcyclist were involved in a car accident on the Festac Link Bridge in the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State on Saturday night. The incident, which occurred around 11:00 pm, left the victims unconscious and they were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have reportedly killed three villagers in the Ogbaulu community of Agatu Local Government Area, Benue State. The victims were attacked while working on their separate farms on Friday afternoon.
