1. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu exercises caution regarding the minimum wage matter by seeking further consultation before sending an Executive Bill to the National Assembly. His decision followed a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) where he received a report from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume.

2. A Supplementary Appropriation Bill that may include funding for a new presidential jet is expected to be forwarded to the National Assembly tomorrow. To help cover the costs, three aircrafts from the Presidential Air Fleet (PAF) have been put up for sale.

3. The leadership dispute within the Labour Party (LP) intensifies as its National Transition Committee (LPNTC) continues to demand the resignation of the national chairman, Julius Abure. Labour leaders attended a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja, stating that Abure’s tenure, along with other NWC members, will expire at the end of the month.

6. The Federal Government has refuted claims made by a Dangote Petroleum Refinery official, declaring that no dirty fuel has been imported into Nigeria. This announcement followed a meeting with oil marketers and local crude oil refiners in Abuja, during which participants discussed refined product pricing, competition, and importation of products produced within Nigeria.

7. In Ogun State, a man is set to face prosecution for allegedly exhuming and beheading a corpse for ritualistic purposes in the Itoko area of Abeokuta, the state capital. The suspect was arrested on Monday after a resident reported suspicious activity around the grave of the victim’s father.

8. Bandits have kidnapped 47 individuals in a fresh terror attack on Danbaza community in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Reports from a village resident, Mustapha Danbaza, state that 11 people were abducted from a single family during the incident. This latest attack highlights the ongoing insecurity crisis in the region.

9. President Bola Tinubu has tasked the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to establish a committee responsible for overseeing the Cholera Emergency Operation Centre, operated by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). This announcement was made by the Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Pate, during a press briefing after the council meeting.

10. The Naira has strengthened against the US dollar in the parallel market, moving from N1,505 to N1,500 per dollar since Monday. However, the currency experienced a slight depreciation in the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), dropping to N1,500.79 per dollar.
