Again, gunmen attack Imo Assembly LP’s candidate home

The country home of Dr Nnaemeka Obiaraeri, the Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State House of Assembly candidate of the Labour Party, was in the early hours of Saturday attacked by unknown gunmen.

His house, cars, and those of his father and uncles were burnt and destroyed by the gunmen said to have stormed the place in three vehicles.

Obiaraeri confirmed the attack on his country home in a statement he personally issued on Saturday morning.

The LP candidate blamed the attack on the “failure of the All Progressives Congress-led administrations in the state and at the centre.”

Obiaraeri lamented in the statement that he, “Just got another share of the terrible state of insecurity in Nigeria.”

His statement read, “Gunmen, surely known to their sponsors, went to my country home in Amagu Ihube to burn down my house and burn to ashes my operational factory vehicles parked…
