Ahead of Feb. 25 general election, the Committee on Contemporary Leadership and Good Governance under the auspices of Remo League of Imam and Alfas is organizing a Parley for all aspirants from different political parties in the three Local Government Areas that makes up Remo zone of Ogun State vis-a-vis Sagamu Local Government, Remo North Local Government and Ikenne Local Government.
In a message made to the press by the organizers, the session will afford each aspirants to interact with the cross section of leaders of Remo Muslim Community and discuss their manifestos and political programmes.
The programme will also include prayer sessions for the aspirants in Pain State and Nigeria as a whole for a peaceful and successful general elections in the country.
The program billed for Wednesday 15th Feb. 2023 at AUD hall, Sagamu is expected to be attended by the Senatorial candidates, House of Representative candidates and the State House of Assembly candidates across all registered political parties who are participating in the forthcoming election.
The session shall be chaired by the Grand Chief Imam of Remoland : Fadeelat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Junaid.
