London tube strikes announced for Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend as staff threaten to walk out

Union bosses have been branded ‘disgusting’ for staging the most disrespectful stunt yet after announcing plans to strike during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations at two key London Underground stations — including one outside Buckingham Palace.

Underground staff part of the RMT Union are planning to walk out of Euston and Green Park stations on Friday, June 3, with the strike affecting the Piccadilly, Jubilee and Victoria lines. 

It will cause ‘significant disruption to people wishing to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee’, warned union bosses, after choosing to disrupt Green Park, the underground station closest to Buckingham Palace. 

Sir Robert Neill, Tory MP for Bromley and Chislehurst told MailOnline the planned action shows little respect for Her Majesty’s reign.
