A woman, 30, who is expecting a baby with her 60-year-old husband has opened up about the horrific hate that they receive on social media – including trolls who tell them he will be dead by the time their child is five.
Larry and Mindy Mikla, from Florida, started dating in 2015; they met after Mindy got into a car accident and Larry, who was a police officer at the time, showed up to help her.
They soon fell in love and tied the knot one year later – despite having a three-decade age gap.
The couple is now expecting their first child together, but after sharing their happy baby news to social media in December, they started to receive furious backlash from users who told them things like, ‘That kid isn’t going to have a dad in five to 10 years,’ and, ‘It’s sad the baby won’t get to see his dad live long.’
