Police have named the Skoda driver who was killed in the horror M6 crash that also left four members of the same family dead.
The driver has been identified as Richard Woods, aged 40, from Cambridgeshire.
Jaroslaw Rossa, 42, his sons Filip, 15, and Dominic, seven, and passenger Jade McEnroe, 33, were also killed in the collision.
A third youngster, Jade’s son, Arran Martin, seven, who travelling in the same vehicle, is currently in a coma fighting for his life at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
Officers in Cumbria received ‘multiple reports’ the vehicle had been travelling southbound on the northbound carriageway on Tuesday, October 15.
Emergency services were on route when further calls were received saying it had been involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota.
