A non-political organisation, Enugu West Patriotic League, yesterday, commended the people of Enugu West senatorial district for joining hands with it to effectively end political dictatorship in the zone.
The group made the commendation during a meeting of the League in Enugu where, it reviewed its activities since inception and in the run up to the party primaries in the state.
Congratulating all the people that emerged candidates in various elective positions in the forthcoming general elections in Enugu West senatorial zone, the group pledged its total support for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Peter Mbah.
While praising the members for their resilience against all odds, the league vowed to sustain the tempo and to ensure that henceforth no single individual would lord it over to the people of Enugu West, especially, as it concerns elective and appointive political positions in Enugu state.
