The last is yet to be heard on the verbal war between the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that during an Arise TV interview aired on Friday, Atiku addressed a lot of issues, including claiming that he fell out with Tinubu in 2007 because he (Atiku) was opposed to a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket.
However, Tinubu has reacted to the interview, describing Atiku as a desperate liar “who should never be entrusted with the presidency”.
In a statement on Saturday, signed by the Director, Media and Communication of Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Mr Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu faulted most of the claims made by Atiku, saying that the APC was extremely shocked by the many lies and ignorance displayed by the PDP presidential candidate.
