A former Minister of Transport and member, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ebenezer Babatope, has cautioned stakeholders of the nation’s main opposition party against moves that will jeopardize the party from unseating the incumbent government in 2023.
This is as the party chieftain warned Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, to stop making outrageous demands from the party.
Naija News understands that Wike was offended by the PDP leadership and its 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar following activities at the party’s last national convention.
Though Atiku had admitted that Wike will still work in his favour in the coming election and is not dumping the party as speculated in some quarters.
However, Babatope, who spoke during an interview with The PUNCH over the weekend in Ibadan, said God will punish any member of the party that works against its victory in the coming election.
