How Enugu deteriorated under Ugwuanyi – Nweke 

All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA), governorship candidate for Enugu 2023, Hon. Frank Nweke Jnr has regretted that since Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi mounted the rostrum as the executive governor of Enugu state, the state has  deteriorated instead of moving forward.

Nweke said that for the past seven years, Enugu has been going down gradually as refuse has taken over every nook and cranny of Enugu metropolis whereas most roads were in sorry state.

He wondered why the Ugwuanyi administration has not added any infrastructure while existing ones could not be maintained.

Nweke who said this Wednesday at a leadership retreat organised by a pressure group, Take Back Naija, TBN, said why the former governors, starting from Jim Nwobodo, the former governor of old Anambra state, Chimaroke Nnamani to Sullivan Chime, established one public utility or the other, rather than add to the existing social amenities, Ugwuanyi has allowed them to deteriorate.
