Two opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) ward leaders and executives, Ummarun Hassan, Secretary; and Manu Abubakar, Assistant Treasurer of Dingyadi-Badawa ward in Bodinga Local Government Area (LGA) have joined the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State.
The Nation reports that they defected alongside a number of their supporters
The state’s PDP spokesperson, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal confirmed the defections in a statement on Friday.
