The Osun State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) on Saturday denied a claim that it has endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu.
The Caretaker Chairman of the party in Osun, Alhaji Abdussalam Abdullateef, who made the rebuttal at a news conference in Osogbo, urged Nigerians to disregard the claim.
Abdullateef explained that four members of the NNPP, who reportedly endorsed Tinubu, were “on their own.”
He said that the only presidential candidate known to the NNPP is Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, “who has all it takes to give our dear country a new lease of life come May 29, 2023, and beyond…
