A grassroots support group for the election of the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, yesterday, donated bags of rice to 500 women in Danja Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The coordinator of the group, Abdurrahman Haruna Danja, who is also a youth mobilisation director and Special Adviser to the APC National Youth leader, said the beneficiaries were mainly women with orphans and the less privileged, who were expected to enjoy the support of the group.
Danja further described the manifesto of the APC as better, compared to that of other parties.
He said, “We are promising our presidential candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu, Katsina State APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Dikko Umaru Radda along with Amiruddeen Tukur, member House of Reps Bakori /Danja Constituency, of our massive votes in the upcoming elections.”
