Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has said that the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the November 11 governorship election, Dino Melaye, would make one of the best governors in the country if voted for.
The former vice president stated this on Thursday during the party’s mega rally in Lokoja, Kogi State.
Atiku said that he has worked with Dino Melaye since 1999 and has found him as very reliable, diligent, intelligent and patriotic. He urged Kogi people to vote him in as their next governor.
Atiku argued that Melaye does not kill people like what the present administration led by Yahaya Bello is doing.
“Dino is committed, determined, courageous and well focused. He doesn’t kill people like what the present administration is doing in Kogi State. I am appealing to you to come out and vote for PDP and defend your vote,” Atiku stated.
