Labour Party chieftain, Kenneth Okonkwo, has expressed disappointment with the party’s recent developments, describing it as a “secret society led by a group of clowns”.
Okonkwo, who was the party’s presidential campaign spokesperson in the 2023 election, criticized the party’s lack of integrity and its inability to hold a credible national convention.
He threatened to leave the party if it continues on its current trajectory, stating that he may rejoin another party that prioritizes the welfare of Nigerians.
Okonkwo had previously left the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2022 due to its adoption of a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the presidential election.
