Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, was reportedly seen attending the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum Gala Night, which was hosted by the Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, following the Forum’s meeting in Jalingo, the state capital, on Friday.
According to a post shared by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, via his X account @GovernorAUF on Saturday, the gala night aimed to highlight “the rich cultural heritage of Taraba State.” The post included several pictures, one of which showed Ododo, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside PDP governors. It read: “Yesterday, after our @OfficialPDPNig Governors Forum meeting, @GovAgbuKefas hosted a vibrant Gala Night showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Taraba. From the colourful displays to the captivating performances, it was truly a night to remember. Thank you, Taraba, for your warm hospitality.”
Nigerians were left puzzled by Ododo’s presence at a PDP event, especially after his recent Supreme Court victory just hours earlier. Many took to X to express their confusion.
One user, @PrinceOfIgala, wrote, “Is that not Ododo, who got the Supreme Court judgement yesterday? I will be glad if that is Ododo who got Supreme Court judgment yesterday I am seeing there. @officialABAT how market?.”
Another user, @Ayotund1, commented, “Ododo dey PDP be that o,” while @oil_shaeikh asked, “Is that not Gov Ododo?” @hon_Asadiq also reacted, saying, “What brought Ododo here please?” and @mashaallahujada simply remarked, “Hmm, Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo.”
Similarly, @Emmanue99884047 inquired, “Who brought Ododo here?” and @LOD_hyper7 questioned, “No be Ododo be this?” Meanwhile, @Jaycn330 added, “Is that not Usman Ododo of Kogi State?”
