Former President Barack Obama attempted rapping onstage Tuesday after he was introduced by Eminem at a rally in Detroit.
Eminem came onstage and took a subtle swipe at former President Donald Trump – expressing his support for Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, and saying she wouldn’t be out for ‘retribution.’
He then made way for Obama, who admitted that he was feeling ‘nervous’ having to follow the Real Slim Shady.
‘I was feeling some kind of way following Eminen,’ Obama said. ‘Now I noticed that my palms are sweaty, knees weaks, arms are heavy, there’s vomit on my sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.’
The audience started screaming when they realized Obama was rapping to Eminem’s 2002 hit, Lose Yourself.
‘I’m nervous but on the surface I was calm and ready. To drop bombs but he keeps on forgetting,’ he said to more screaming, as he mouthed the beat into the microphone.
‘I thought Eminem was going to be performing and I was going to jump out,’ Obama admitted after he wrapped up the rap.
