Incredible plot to assassinate Kim Jong-un including nerve agent provided by CIA

DAILY STAR

A plot to assassinate Kim Jong-un has been shown by the CIA, including a possible nerve agent attempt to bump the despot off.

North Korea had accused both the US and South Korea of attempting to assassinate the dictator with a toxic nerve agent. It was unconfirmed at the time and even joked about during a meeting between the CIA and Kim Jong-Un, but a source has apparently revealed the truth.

Plans were allegedly in place to bump off the North Korean dictator back in 2017 as a way to “topple the Kim regime”, though the plan never came to fruition.

A meeting between Kim Jong-un and CIA director Mike Pompeo in North Korea’s capital Pyongyang led to the duo joking about attempts on the world leader’s life.

Kim greeted the former Secretary of the United States, saying: “Mr. Director, I didn’t think you’d show up. I know you’ve been trying to kill me.” To which Mr Pompeo replied: “Mr. Chairman, I’m still trying to kill you.”

Their back-and-forth with one another turned out to be a genuine threat as one individual close with the assassination plot in 2017 revealed there were plans in place for Kim to meet his end through a toxic disaster, The Sun reported.
