Memphis Depay’s future is not yet decided, but at the moment he is more out than in at Barcelona.
Juventus have been sending messages to the player and Barcelona in the past few days, and in the last few hours they have intensified their contacts.
Juventus want Barcelona to terminate his contract and allow him to leave on a free transfer, though.
Memphis knows that he is not going to have many minutes in Xavi‘s new project, with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and the renewal of Ousmane Dembele, which is why he is looking favourably on Barcelona‘s invitation to change scenery and leave the Camp Nou.
His departure, moreover, would save a significant amount of money for the club’s coffers and considerably alleviate the tight wage bill. He is a long-awaited departure in the offices.
