Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has made a subtle dig at Wesley Fofana by saying that there are no similarities between how he is conducting himself and how Harry Maguire behaved before he joined Manchester United in 2019. Fofana has been frozen out of the first team and will not feature for the Foxes against Chelsea this weekend.

It is no secret that the Blues are in desperate need of another defensive recruit, despite the arrivals of Marc Cucurella and Kalidou Koulibaly. Thomas Tuchel’s side have targeted numerous top players but with little luck, and attention has turned to Fofana, who is keen to move.

the Foxes that he would like to be allowed to join Chelsea this summer and is hoping that his £80million price tag does not deter the interest from the Stamford Bridge outfit. Fofana is now training with the development squad and also alone, with him not being welcome in the first team until the transfer saga is resolved.
