Champions League line-ups: Juventus vs. Benfica

Football Italia

The pressure is on Juventus to beat on-form Benfica and get off the Champions League mark, so they use Dusan Vlahovic and Arek Milik together with Leandro Paredes in a 3-5-2 formation.

It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

Max Allegri has certainly had a rough start to the season, losing 2-1 to PSG in Europe and drawing three of the opening five Serie A games, including a very controversial 2-2 result with Salernitana that had a last-minute Milik winner incorrectly disallowed by VAR.

Angel Di Maria is back in the squad, but only fit for the bench, so Paredes runs the midfield with Fabio Miretti, using Milik and Vlahovic together upfront.

Benfica, on the other hand, have won all six of their competitive matches so far, including 2-0 over Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League. With last season too, they’ve won 11 in a row.

Morato, Lucas Verissimo and Joao Victor are out injured, but former Inter flop Joao Mario starts behind striker Goncalo Ramos.

Juventus: Perin; Bremer, Bonucci, Danilo; Cuadrado, McKennie, Paredes, Miretti, Kostic; Milik, Vlahovic

Juventus bench: Pinsoglio, Garofani, De Sciglio, Gatti, Kean, Di Maria, Rugani, Soule, Barbieri, Fagioli

Benfica bench: Leite, Gilberto, Aursnes, Diogo Goncalves, Rodrigo Pinho, Chiquinho, Ristic, Brooks, Musa, Henrique Araujo, Paulo Bernardo, Draxler
